Maria Aleksandrova (Poliakova; born on April 7, 1974), Ukrainian volleyball player and sports official.

⁃ Since 1993, vice-champion of the World Youth Championship and bronze medallist of the European Championship. For these achievements, she got the title "International class Ukrainian master of sports".
⁃ Since 1995, she started playing for “Iskra” Luhansk, where she spent most of her playing career.
⁃ She defended the colours of the Ukrainian National team for 11 years. She participated in the Summer Olympics-1996 in Atlanta, the World Championship-1994 and four European Championships (1993, 1995, 1997 and 2001).
⁃ She played seven seasons abroad. As part of “Unibana”, she became the champion of Brazil, with the Austrian Telecom - the second prizewinner of the European Cup. She also played for German "Schwerin", Turkish "Turk Telecom" and "Olympiakos" (Piraeus). As part of the Greek club, she completed her performances in 2007.
⁃ Since 2019, he has held the position of general manager of the newly created volleyball team SC "Prometey" Ukraine.
⁃ From 2023, he holds the position of president of SC "Prometey" Ukraine.
