Our team started the match very mighty establishing a two-digit advantage already in 4th minute, which was almost doubled before the first break – 29:11. In our team’s line-up, Denys Lukashov stood out in the debut of the game. The most experienced player of the “titans” converted two three-point shots with 100% accuracy. To this outcome, Denys added 4 rebounds and 4 assists within the first ten-minute segment.
In the second quarter, the hosting team managed to find its playing rhythm. They brilliantly started attacking “Prometey” hoop from long distance – 6 accurate long-range shots at once. At the end of the quarter, “Viimsi” players even surpassed the visitors in three-point shots accuracy (38 % against 37%). As a result, “Viimsi” managed to win the quarter minimally (21:20).
In the second half of the game, Valdo Lips’s team also looked rather decent. They outperformed the “titans” in three-point shots and came very close to them in rebounds.
But still, the much higher class of "Prometey" was obvious. The "titans" quite calmly kept their opponents at a distance and gathered a well-deserved win.
Already on February 7, “Prometey” is playing a very important match within the BKT EuroCup. Our team is capping the first stage of the tournament with a home confrontation with Spanish “Joventut”.
