The penultimate round of the BKT EuroCup regular seson first tour in group A has started with two matches. In Paris, the singlehanded group leader “Paris Basketball” hosted Turkish “Besiktas” and in German Hamburg, the local club of the same name hosted “Vilnius Wolves “ from Lithuania.

In the capital of France, “Paris Basketball” saw their winning streak, which was 7 matches long, come to an end. The hosts of the floor was dominating in the first half of the game winning it with a point differential of 9 points. But later, the Turkish club caught hold of initiative and won with a final score of 68:63.

In Hamburg, “Wolves” from Vilnius were considered the favourites and they confirmed their status. The Lithuanians won each of the first three quarters and only the last one came to tie. However, before its start, the “wolves” were in lead by 13 points. The final score is 84:71 in favour of “Vilnius Wolves”.

Today, three more matches of the 8th round will be played. The confrontation in Riga “Prometey” – “Reyer Venice”, start of which is scheduled for 19:00, is among them.
