In the second match of the first game day of the All-Ukrainian youth basketball league Final Four, Academy “Prometey” team born in 2010 played against the ir peers from SCYSSOR №5 Dnipro.
 

The rivals played several matches this season both at the AYBL first stage and at the non-official level. Mostly, youth from Dnipro selebtated their success. Unfortunately, young “Prometey” players did not manage to take revenge today.

They started with a spurt 6:0 and went for the long break in a status of the leader. However, in the second half of the game initiative transferred to the team from Dnipro. In the final ten-minute segment, opponent’s handicap reached the mark of “10+”. Our team was fighting till the last minute of the match, but couldn’t reach the opponent. It worth noting that both “Prometey” captain Artem Tomak and Makar Konovnitsyn recorded a double-double in their asset.
 

Tomorrow, on May 28 at 10:00, our team awaits a match for the third place. The rival is a team of OCYSS (Chernihiv).
