On the second game day of the BKT EuroCup Round 12 in Group A, apart from the match with participation of “Prometey”, three more matches were played. They did not have unexpected results: the teams, which were considered the favourites, won in their confrontations. “Hapoel Tel Aviv” and “Paris Basketball” gained home wins over “Venice” and “Hamburg” respectively. “Joventut” got a road win over “Vilnius Wolves”.

According to the round results, “Paris Basketball” kept the leading position in the group with 11 wins. “Hapoel Tel Aviv” and “London Lions” are two wins behind the French club, at that the Israeli club played one match less.

“Joventut” and “Besiktas” have a 7-5 balance. “Prometey” has 50% indicator of wins and kept the sixth position in the tournament standings. As a round before, the “titans” is two wins ahead of “Vilnius Wolves” (11 matches) and “Venice” (12).

“Hamburg”, with its 2-10, and “Cedevita Olimpija”, with 0-12, are at the bottom of the tournament standings.

Exactly with the match against the Slovenian club, on December 27 in Riga, “Prometey” will cap the programme of the EuroCup regular season official matches in 2023.
