The men’s National team of Ukraine has played its second control match within preparation for the Olympic 2024 pre-qualification. At the Olympic centre of Riga, the capital of Latvia, they played against the National team of Sweden. The match turned out to be challenging for Ukrainians and finished with their victory 74:72 owing to the accurate two-points shot by “Prometey” forward Andrii Voinalovych in the last seconds.

Andrii played almost 31 minutes, scored 11 points + 4 rebounds + 2 assists + 1 blocked shot. The statistics of another “Prometey” bigman, Viacheslav Petrov, as follows: 28 minutes, 7 points + 5 rebounds + 1 assist + 1 blocked shot.

Ukrainian National team will hold their next match on August 5 also in Riga. The rival – the National team of Israel.
