Lithuanian basketball player Arnoldas Kulboka (04.01.1998, 206 cm, 104 kg) will play for the basketball club “Prometey”. Previous season, bigman played for our rival in the EuroCup quarterfinal Greek “Promitheas”.

During the summer, information appeared in media that Arnoldas would play for the Euroleague club “Baskonia”. In July, Greek editions informed about the transfer of Lithuanian player to “Valencia”. However, after negotiations with our head coach Ronen Ginzburg, Kulboka preferred our club.

Kulboka started his career as part of the youth roster of “Zalgiris” Kaunas.

In August, 2015, Lithuanian player signed a five-year contract with German “Bamberg”.

In June, 2017, Kulboka participated in Adidas Eurocamp. He was recognised as the best camp shooter having scored 10 straight three-point shots. Besides that, he was included to the 2017 All-Eurocamp First Team.

On July 14, 2017, Kulboka transferred on the rental basis to “Orlandina Basket” from Italian serie A. In that season, he averaged 10.3 points, 5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in the Champions League and was named the beat young player of the season.

In the late 2017-2018 season, Kulboka included his name for the 2018 NBA draft. He was chosen by “Charlotte Horhets” with 55th pick.

In the summer of 2018, Arnoldas returned to “Bamberg”. A year later, he signed a contract with Spanish “Bilbao”. After the first season, he extended the contract with Spanish club for another two years. However, in the summer 2021, he left “Bilbao” after getting an offer from “Charlotte Hornets”, who signed with Arnoldas a two-way contract for the 2021-2022 season. Kulboka debuted in the roster of “Charlotte Hornets” on December 11, 2021.

In the summer 2022, Lithuanian player signed a one-year contract with Greek club “Promitheas”, and on January 25, 2023, he set his career high: 30 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and RE 36 in a home match against “Buducnost”.

In 27 matches of Greek Championship, Kulboka averaged 12.1 points (44% of three-pointers) and 5.3 rebounds in 28 minutes. In the EuroCup he on average scored 14.7 points and made 5.9 rebounds in 31 minutes.

Arnoldas Kulboka also played for the Youth National teams of Lithuania. In 2016, at U-18 European Championship he averaged 15.7 points per game and, together with the team, became the silver medallist. At the 2017 World Youth Cup, he scored on average 13.7 points.
