The seventh game week in the BKT EuroCup group A capped with three matches. In the Latvian capital Vilnius, the local “Wolves” played against Italian “Reyer Venice”. As of today, both teams are the direct competitors of our “Prometey” in the fighting for entering the playoffs. The Italian club gained its first road tournament win with a score of 93:77.
In the other matches, fortune also was on the hosts’ side. In Istanbul, “London Lions” defeated “Besiktas” (83:80), and in Ljubljana, “Hamburg” surpassed “Cedevita Olimpija”.
“Paris Basketball” keeps its leading with 100%result in seven matches and is atop of the tournament standings. “Besiktas” and “London Lions” have two wins less. “Hapoel Tel Aviv” is in fourth place with 4-2 balance. Four teams at once have three wins each. “Prometey” has the worst additional indicators among them and therefpre is in 8th position at the moment. Three teams of this quartet have played all 7 matches, “Vilnius Wolves” – one match less. “Hamburg” (1-6) and “Cedevita Olimpija” (0-7) are at the bottom of the tournament standings.
Its next EuroCup match, “Prometey” plays on November 22 in Riga against Italian “Venice”, which is one step higher of the “titans”.
