BC “Prometey” is applying for participation in the Championship of Ukraine among the High League teams in the 2023/2024 season. It was said in the club’s letter to the basketball community.

“BC “Prometey” has become the participant of the 7DAYS EuroCup 2023/2024”

Dear basketball community, we are pleased to inform that basketball club “Prometey” is included to the list of participants of the 7DAYS EuroCup 2023/24, in which our team will participate.

Also, yesterday, a meeting with members of the supervisory board, the president and the director of BC “Prometey” was held, where the decision was made regarding team’s participation in the Ukrainian championship of the 2023/2024 season.

It was not an easy decision, however, regardless of emotions, but for the sake of Ukrainian basketball development in such difficult time, we inform that BC “Prometey” is applying for participation in the Championship of Ukraine among High League teams in accordance with the competition regulations. We, also, do not lose hope, that closer to the start of the 2023/2024 season, the FBU executive committee will reconsider the possibility of our club participating in the Super League.

We hope that this step will lay a new foundation for friendly and business relations between BC "Prometey" and the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.
