The team’s basketball players have had the first full-fledged practice in Riga, and the club’s founder, Volodymyr Dubynskyi shared the details of the players’ physical condition.
Illia Sydorov, Ivan Tkachenko, Viacheslav Petrov, Issuf Sanon, Caleb Agada, Ondrej Balvin, Oleksandr Lypovyy and Denys Lukashov continue rehabilitation after injuries and surgeries.
The founder of “Prometey” has wished quick recovery to all players and also said that all other players, in particular, newbies-legionnaires Marcus Keene, Ronald March, Davon Reed, Tai Odiase and Arnoldas Kulboka, as well as Ukrainian Andrii Voinalovych, have already joined the team and started preparation for the season.
At the moment, we are working on physical condition, injury prevention and strengthening players’ body beforehand the eventful season.
As a reminder, “Prometey” will participate in its second in a row season in the EuroCup, where, in spring, it reached the semi-final. In addition, the team will play in the championship of the Latvian-Estonian basketball league, in which “Prometey” is the current champion.
Ronen Ginzburg's team will play its first test match on August 31. Before that, it will train almost every day (with one day off on Sunday).
