BC Prometey invites to join the programme of basketball practices for Ukrainian kids and teenagers in Riga

It will be the first of 8 free basketball practices for Ukrainian settlers’ children, within the programme of socialisation and social responsibility by the basketball club Prometey and the Euroleague programme One Team, which involves various social groups in sports with dozens thousands people all over the world, who has already involved.

BC Prometey is participating in this global initiative for the second straight year. Our club's chosen area of responsibility is the support of those who needs it the most now - Ukrainian children, who had to learn what the war is early in life and not from textbooks. For safety, they are so far away from their home, friends and usual life. Sport aids to develop not only physically, but also to acquire new mental skills, make new friends and learn to be part of a team.

So, we invite you to attend in a series of free basketball workouts for children aged between 8 and 14, offered by BC Prometey

The first training session is scheduled for:

Practice duration: 1 hour

The number of places is limited.

You need to have:
change of clothes for workout: sports footwear (sneakers/trainers), shorts, t-shirt.
You have to arrive at the location 30 minutes before the training session starts (at 11:30 to have time to change).
The class is suitable for both beginners and ones that are more experienced. 

In addition to free training sessions, Prometey invites Ukrainian children and their parents to attend our team's matches for free.
