Today, August 10, the Ukrainian National team is going to Turkey for a friendly match. The day before, Ukrainians played the first control game with the Lithuanian student team. Let us remind, that Prometey players Denys Lukashov and Ivan Tkachenko did not participate in the match.

In an interview to basketballua.com, the head coach of the Ukrainian National team, Ainars Bagatskis, explained why they had not participated in the match:

"Lukashov started having concerns about his back. Not pain but concerns. Denys, like all players, is an important part of the team. So, we decided to save him for later. And Tkachenko also had concerns about his back after the first two days of training. However, he will train today," Ainars said.

In addition to that the coach informed that 14 players will go to Turkey. We will let you know which Prometey players will be in the team for the friendly tournament as soon as it becomes known.
