Dear fans, information about the alleged participation of BC "Prometey" in the basketball Superleague has just appeared on the FBU website.

As the director of the club, I would like to make a statement. Such information has manipulative motives and does not correspond to reality.

According to the chronology of events, before the FBU Executive Committee made a discriminatory decision regarding BC Prometey, the club's management had previously announced their INTENTIONS to participate in the Championship.

However, after the announcement of discriminatory conditions for our club, we did not submit an application in the appropriate form for participation in the championship, as required by the regulations.

Therefore, we do not understand on what grounds the Basketball Federation of Ukraine is currently disseminating information about the participation of BC "Prometey" in the championship.

Our position remains unchanged until the FBU changes its discriminatory decision regarding our club, BC "Prometey" will not participate in the Ukrainian basketball championship.

 I would like to note that today was the last day to submit an application for participation in the championship and BC "Prometey" did not submit such an application, so please take the information posted on the FBU website regarding the participation of BC "Prometheus" as untrue.
