A “Prometey” rookie Davon Reed, for whom our club becam the first one in Europe in his career told the club’s press-service about his adaptation to European basketball.
“I know everybody talks about the adjustment in Europe and I am certain there should be kind of adjustment period like work hard on how you can get used to the team, the culture. So, I expect to adjust very quickly and I am looking for having a great season.
I mean, at the end of the day, basketball is basketball. There are some differences in style, differences in play, athletic differences, differences in speed but at the end of the day, it is basketball - the same ball, same teammates around, same court, the same basket. So I have to adjust to some differences and I think, it will be easy for me to adjust.
It is just a matter of how quickly I can adjust. I am very confident, I will be a very-very good player in the league here in Europe and I am looking forward to prove that everybody, who says I am not able to adjust because of the lack of experience, is wrong. Like I said, basketball is basketball everywhere. I will prove that with my hard work, not with words”, Reed said
