On April 13 in Kaunas, DJ Kennedy underwent a knee surgery. “Prometey” player was operated by one of the best surgeons not only in Lithuania, but also in Europe, Professor Rimtautas Gudas at Gijos clinic.

“DJ got a really complicated sports injury. During the operation, the athlete underwent reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament and sutured the inner and outer meniscuses. We are very happy about this, because it is rare to save both meniscuses during surgery!" - said Rimtautas Gudas.

Already the following after the operation morning, work with physiotherapist has begun; Kennedy started doing exercises of the initial post-surgery recovery. After the physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor drew up an individual rehabilitation plan, DJ came back to Riga.

As a reminder, DJ Kennedy got injured on March 25, in the LEBL quarterfinal game against BC “Viimsi”.
