Last week, “Prometey” became the third Ukrainian club, after BC “Donetsk” and BC “Budivelnyk”, to make it to the EuroCup quarterfinal.

Now, “Prometey” is competing compete for the ticket to the semi-final of the tournament with Greek club “Promitheas Patras”. At the previous stage, the next opponent of Ukrainian club attained the biggest victory having defeated French “Bourg” with a score of 89:75.

In the current season, “Promitheas Patras” has a very high-quality roster. First of all, it concerns the team legionnaires. For example, a week ago, “Promitheas” point-guard Anthony Cowan became the MVP of the EuroCup 1/8 finals and, among all tournament players, is one of contenders for the title of the MVP of the season.

“Prometey” awaits a very difficult confrontation. Considering the advantage of home arena and more successful performance at the group stage, “red and white” can be named the favourites if this match. However, the rival also has a good chance to make its way to the quartet of European strongest teams
