
On December 21, the first EuroCup round of the 2022/2023 season finished. In thhe first half of the regular championship, DJ Kennedy became the most effective player in the “Prometey” roster, Caleb Agada is in the second place, Gian Clavell is the third one.
DJ Kennedy – 28 minutes, 11.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.9 steals, RE 17.9.
Kennedy is the most productive “Prometey” player in the 7DAYS EuroCup last four tours. During first eight tours, he was the only one at the tournament to score on average 11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists. It was in addition to the fact that he was one of the EuroCup leaders by rebounds – 2.6 per game. Kennedy became particularly productive after the 5th tour. Before the national teams’ window in November, Kennedy scored on average 7.3 points, making only 44% of his two-point shots. He also had 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. Starting from the 5th tour, he more than doubled the number of points (14.8) and assists (5.5); also he improved his two-pointers (55.2%), rebounds (6.3) and even steals (2.8). As a result, Kennedy not only demonstrated average RE 24.0 in last four tours but also gained, since the 5 tour, higher RE than any other player in the tournament for this period.
Caleb Agada – 22 minutes, 14.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.9 steals, RE 14.3.
Because of injury, Caleb did not participate in two EuroCup games. In his first match after the coming back to the court, on December 21 against “Reyer Venice”, he brought to the team 13 points, 9 rebounds (his high in the tournament) and 4 assists. Agada is the 5th in the EuroCup in terms of steals (in general, there are two representatives of our team in the Top-5 by this indicator: DJ Kennedy is the second one).
Gian Clavell – 16.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, RE 13.9.
Gian Clavell is the second one at the tournament in terms of successful three-point shots (on average 2.8 per game). Our scorer was particularly productive in three games: 5/12 against “Bursaspor”, 7/10 against “Ulm”, 4/6 against “Cluj”.
