The coaching staff of the National team of Ukraine, led by the head coach Vitaly Stepanovskyi, decided on the expanded team roster for the upcoming matches within the EuroBasket 2025 qualification, which will be played already in February.

Four “Prometey” players were called up to the national team: Illia Sydorov, Oleksandr Lypovyy, Viacheslav Bobrov and Ivan Tkachenko. Andriy Voinalovych, who plays for the Polish "Slask" on the rental base, as well as former player of "Prometey" Viacheslav Petrov, who started the current season as part of the "titans" and Oleksandr Mishula, were also included to the extended squad.

On February 22, the National team of Ukraine will hold a road match against Slovenia, and on February 25, it will host Portugal at Arena Riga. Preparations for the EuroBasket 2025 selection matches will also take place in Riga.
