The founder of BC “Prometey” Volodymyr Dubynskyi has shared the last news on the changes in the team’s roster.
“Friends, we have good news. After the surgeries and a recovery period, Gian Clavell, DJ Kennedy and Denys Lukashov join the team.
At present, Denys and Gian have already started intensive practice and, I hope, we will see them on the court in the upcoming matches.
Kennedy arrived in Riga this Sunday. Now, he is undergoing medical examining with our doctors and, in 10 – 14 days, we will see him on the floor as well.
Guys, welcome back to the home club, thanks for being with us, for your trust and for giving us a great hope for success in this season.
In particular, I would like to thank our Ukrainian players. Guys, you are just incredible. In such a difficult period, which our team has recently experienced, you managed to find your inner strength to overcome all odds, to respond to the club and fans criticism in a right way and lead the team.
Now, we can see the team we root for with all our hearts. Victories are coming. They are already with us. We see absolutely different team – well coordinated, passing the ball and amicable. I know that atmosphere in the locker room in friendly and I would very much prefer it to remain that way.
Illia Sydorov, Oleksandr Lypovyy, Issuf Sanon, Ivan Tkachenko, Viacheslav Bobrov, thanks a lot to all of you. I believe, you will keep developing and will be able to please us with your performance proudly carrying Ukrainian colours. It is very important for us to understand that you are passionate about the future of Ukrainian basketball and you will do your best so that “Prometey” achieve even greater accomplishments and victories.
Our legionnaires, who did not leave the team, Ondrej Balvin, Tai Odiase, Caleb Agada, Ronald March and Rob Grey are also worth noting it became visible that you play as a team. All guys demonstrate great playing level and I believe, with an updated team, we will succeed, all guys will adjust to each other. It is so pleasant to see Caleb’s progress; he started feeling partners. Overall, it is already visible the team is starting to play combinations and this is a very positive moment.
We watch each game with confidence, faith and hope only for victory.
