EuroCup season 2022/2023 has ended with the final match, in which Spanish “Gran Canaria” and Turkish “Turk Telekom Ankara” played. The match was held on the court of Spanish club, the winner of the regular season in Group B. At the first stage of the tournament, “Gran Canaria” defeated their today’s opponent twice.

The third success of Spaniards in the confrontation with “Turk Telekom” in the seasonal series allowed them to conquer the main trophy, the first in their history on Euro arena, and a ticket to the Euroleague. Already in a course of the first half, the advantage of “Gran Canaria” reached two dozen points. 

In the second 20-minute segment, "Turk Telekom" managed to revive the intrigue. The teams entered the last five-minute segment with just “+2” in favour of “Gran Canaria”. However, Spaniards made it to bring the game to the victorious end, having won it with a score of 71:67.
