The minimal victory of "Prometey" in Belgium over the leader of the championship of this country "Castors Braine" in the first match of the 1/8 finals of EuroCup Women practically started the struggle of the teams in the second match to reach the quarterfinals with a score of 0:0. However, already in the debut of the confrontation, the champion of Ukraine made life for their opponent as difficult as possible. Victoria Bolshakova's wards started with a 7:0 jerk, which was started by a three-point shot by Ariel Atkins. In the future, the Belgian team could not cope with the high speeds of the "red and whites". It was obvious to the naked eye that they were out of the rhythm of the game. "Castors Braine" before the big break didn’t manage any attacks from the perimeter (there was a moment when only one attempt out of thirteen was successful); the percentage of two-point shots was also low - about 30, and the number of losses (18 in 20 minutes) simply went beyond scale. The only thing that more or less constantly worked for "Castors Braine" is Quinn Dornstauder playing in our three-second zone, who in the second match in a row became the most productive player of their team.
