The founder of “Prometey” Volodymyr Dubynskyi announced that before the friendly match against “Juventus” by the decision of the club management, a new captain of the team was chosen. It was Illia Sydorov. This was supported by the head coach and all players of the team.

“You all know that Denys Lukashov was injured at the end of the last season, he underwent a surgery and now, unfortunately, he await a long recovery, but the season I beginning and the team needs a captain.

Illia has been with us since 2019, he is a real member of our family. He is the Champion of Ukraine, the winner of the SuperCup of Ukraine, the bronze medallist of the Ukrainian championship, the Champion of the Latvian-Estonian league and the semi-finalist of the EuroCup.

He is a real “titan”, a team player and it is a fair appointment.
