“Prometey” basketball player Issuf Sanon, in an interview to the club press-service, told about how rooted for the National team of Ukraine at the Olympic pre-qualification and about his favourite Ukrainian player.
    
- Did you watch the August’s games of Ukrainian national team at the Olympic pre-qualification?

- I watched everything, I rooted. How can I not to watch? There my favourite player Sania Mishula plays! I have played along with him in “Dnipro”, I grew up on his games. He knows that and everyone knows that when I came to “Dnipro”, I always said that Mishula is my icon.

So, I will never have any envy or negativity towards the guys who have played on the same floor with me. Everybody knows I bring only positivity. Therefore, it is clear, I watch them all, I always support them, I am always pleased when we win and I always say “Glory to Ukraine” Glory to Heroes!”.

- How did you like Mishula’s performance for the National team after a long break?

- That is Sania Mishula! He is a faerie player. He cannot be described with any words. You all see that if Sania does something, whatever he does, he is unstoppable. If Sania Mishula is Sania Mishula, you cannot stop him! I guess, only Sania Mishula is able to stop Sania Mishula. That is the only way.

If Mishula starts switching on his abilities, no matter whether you defend or not, Sania Mishula will send you to Miami to rest. It is what it is.

Issuf Sanon himself did not participate in the Matches of Ukrainian team this year due to an injury.

Oleksandr Mishula also defended “Prometey” colours – in the 2021/2022 season. Currently, Ukrainian player is part of Hungarian “Zalakeramia” where he transferred this August.
