Nine players of the Ukrainian National team at once debuted at EuroBasket! Among the debutants, there are three “Prometey” players - Illia Sydorov, Ivan Tkachenko and Issuf Sanon.

- Issuf, I congratulate you on your debut at EuroBasket. What are the feelings?

- It’s incredible. My first game at EuroBasket, my first victory. We started very well, with a victory. And, of course, I would like to thank the team that supported me throughout the game, despite the fact that at some moments I did not make everything well. However, they supported me, gave me advice and tried to help me. Thanks to the team.

- What could you say directly about the game?

- We won with a rather big difference in the points. I can't say that it was an easy game. After all, we were preparing and working all summer long. The main thing is that we are satisfied with the result and move to the next game.

- On August 24, you were injured in a match against the Italian National team. How do you feel now?

- There are some painful sensations, but now I am in the National team, so I have to give out all my strength.

- What can you say about the next match - with the Estonian team?

- We will play the same way as today. That’s all I can say.
