A “Prometey” newbie James Dickey cannot wait to come out to a court wearing our club uniform. He told about this in the interview to our club press-service. So do us, James! We are looking forward to seeing you in action.

-James we are happy to welcome you in ”Prometey”. Tell us, please, why you decided to choose our team for your career?

-Well… I had a really good conversation with a coach, I watched the team playing this season already. The players are really athletic; they play really hard. I think I will fit well in this team.

-There is a war in Ukraine. Why did you decide to choose Ukrainian club despite the fact that anything may happen?

-Am I scared? No, I am not scared. Actually, I am glad to play for Ukrainian team because I feel bad for the country. Everything is going on between Russia and Ukraine, as an American I witness what is going on. I feel for Ukrainians and I am glad to wear the flag when I go to the game. I am proud to help for this country a little bit.

-Let’s introduce you to our fans, first of all from basketball side. Tell us about your basketball way.

-I am very energetic, a lot of yelling, I am loud. I play very hard; I like to compete really hard. I am rebounding and dunking. I have fun playing but I can be wild on the court helping my teammates. And I am very loud. You will notice me early.

-What is your personal goal in the EuroCup? Is it the play-off or, maybe, the final?

-I want to win. I am a winner. I love what I do. That is why I came here. I think I really can help this team win. I want to win as many games as possible.

-How can you describe yourself as a person? What are you like?

-As a person? Very happy, I always smile; I have a lot of energy. Yeah, I am just happy, I have fun, I laugh a lot, I like going outside, talking to people, I like trying new restaurants as I like eating food a lot, I love food. And I play video games: I play a lot in NBA 2K and Call of duty.

-Please, say some words to the “Prometey” fans.

-Dear “Prometey” fans! I am excited to be here, I can’t wait to play dressed in “Prometey” suit, to represent Ukrainian flag and I hope to bring a lot of wins to this club!
