Tomorrow, on April 20, “Prometey” caps the season in the Latvian-Estonian league Pafbet with the final match against “Kalev/Cramo”. It is hard to imagine a better advertisement for the league: the reigning LEBL champion “Prometey”, which will defend its title, and the winner of this season regular tournament will clash in the decisive confrontation.

Due to the victory in the first stage of the championship, "Kalev/Cramo" has the right to play the final match on its home arena. The teams' chances of winning the trophy can be evaluated as approximately equal. The best club of Estonia suffered only one defeat in the regular season. Instead, the "titans" became the most efficient and reliable team in defence at the first stage of the championship. At both stages of the playoffs, "Prometey" solved the task of reaching the next stage in two matches, while "Kalev/Cramo" needed all three matches in the semi-final series against the Latvian "Ventspils" to become a LEBL finalist.

Currently, in the season series "Kalev/Cramo" - "Prometey", the score is equal - 1:1. The teams exchanged convincing home wins. In the final, parity will be broken, and its winner will gain the championship title for the second time - all contenders of the tournament won it just once up to this season.
