U-20 National team has won the match for the European Championship bronze medals in Division B.

“Prometey” player Mykhailo Bublyk appeared in the starting five of Ukrainian team, scored 13 points (3 out of 6 three-pointers), made 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
 

According to the regulations, the teams sitting in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in Division B have a promotion and come back to Division A for the following year. However, this year, only two teams - the finalists of Division B - the National teams of the Czech Republic and North Macedonia, will be advanced.

Gdynia (Polend) will host the U-20 European Championship (Division A) in 2024. Polish National team is among three last teams of Division A and had to be eliminated to Division B.

However, the Polish as a host of the following European Championship in Division A, kept the place in the elite division.

So, unfortunately, in spite of the third place, National team of Ukraine will not advance to Division A.
