At the end of August, the men's National team of Ukraine will play first matches of the second group round of qualification for the 2023 World Cup, where they will oppose the teams of Italy and Iceland. After these matches, already on September 2, the wards of Ainars Bagatskis will start in the EuroBasket 2022. Let us remind you that our team is in group C and will play in Milan, where their opponents will be Great Britain, Estonia, Italy, Greece and Croatia. Recently, the plan for the training of the National team was announced as part of the training sessions. Our team will also play several control matches. At the tournament in Turkey, which starts on July 10, the National team of Ukraine will play against the current European champions Slovenia, against the hosts of the tournament, the Turks, and also, against the National team of Poland. In addition, later in Helsinki, our team will oppose the national team of Finland.

It should be noted that all the opponents of the Ukrainian National team will play in the final part of the European Championship in the control matches, and all teams, except Poland, continue the fight in the selection for the 2023 World Cup.
