
The men’s National team of Ukraine will play the next official matches in August 2023 when it will play within the pre-qualification for the Olympic games-2024.
In total, 40 teams will play in pre-qualification tournament, which will fight for five tickets to the Olympic selection. It will take place on July 2-7. There, 5 teams from the pre-qualification will be joined by 19 National teams that won’t be able to get a place at OG-2024 due to participation in the World Championship.
These 16 European National teams will be divided into two groups of eight, which will be divided into two groups each. In each such quartet a round tournament will be played (all teams will play against each other). First two teams will enter the semi-final, where they will continue fighting for the ticket. The winner of the final “eight” will get it. Herewith, the semi-finals and the final will be held in the one-match format.
The participants of European pre-qualification: Ukraine, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Turkey and Bulgaria.

August 12-16 – group stage
August 18 – semi-finals
August 20 – finals
