Comment by the player of BC “Prometey” Ondrej Balvin on the eve of the EuroCup game against BC “Ratiopharm Ulm”.

-“Prometey” had not played EuroCup matches for a month. Did you miss the EuroCup games?

-No, obviously. I played other games, with the National team, so I kept myself in the game schedule. I am excited to be back in the EuroCup, of course.

-You played in your National team against the National team of France and against Victor Wembanyama. I cannot help but ask you about Victor Wembanyama. What can you say about Victor and how was it to play against him?

-You know, obviously, he is a big talent of European basketball and, in general, World basketball right now. He is the most, I think, hyped player, he is talked about, So, it was interesting to play against him but that was my personal mind set, you know, because I have played against a lot of great players. Victor is one of the best, probably, in the future, in the history of NBA. My thoughts are – I am just playing against other player and I am doing my best, I am doing my job, I am not thinking about who I am competing against.

-What can you say about our next opponent – BC “Ulm”?

-I think, right now they are a black horse of our group, you know, the way they play. I was checking, I think they are on the fourth spot. I am even surprised that they are so high because I was not checking the standings, so I did not realise it. But I think, they are doing a great job, they’ve got young players, really new team compared to the last season and I think, in general they are really interesting team to watch.
