The 13th tour of the 7DAYS EuroCup regular season in Group A opened today, on January 31, with thw matches “Cluj-Napoca” – “Lietkabelis Panevezys” and “Bourg” – “Germani Brescia”.

“Prometey” fans were more interested in the match in France, as local “Bourg” had exactly the same tournament figures as “red and white” and Spanish “Joventut” – 8 wins in 12 matches. Quite unexpectedly, French club conceded to “Brescia” with a score of 66:74, Italians took revenge for the defeat in the first match of the season series.

The failure of “Bourg” means that “Prometey’s” win with any score in tomorrow’s match with “Joventut” makes them a sole leader of Group A.

In the second confrontation of this game day, “Cluj-Napoca” lost at their home arena to “Lietkabelis” by one possession 75:77, worsening their prospects of reaching the play-off.
