“Ratiopharm Ulm” has signed a three-year contract with top prospect Juan Nunez. Nunez (1.92 meters, 18 years old) cut his teeth in the youth system of “Real” Madrid; he debuted in the Euroleague last season. He participated in 10 games, where he scored 14 points, 8 assists and 3 steals.

Nunez has recently led Spain to gold medals at the U20 European Championships. He was recognised as MVP of the tournament after averaging 11.6 points, 4.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game despite being one of the youngest players. Nunez also made his debut for Spain's senior men's team last week.

"Having signed Juan, we obtained a player who has already achieved a lot at a young age and has led many teams to success," the team's website has quoted the coach Anton Havel. - "He learned from the best players in Europe. Now he has to take the next steps with us and take on more responsibility."
