The 19th Basketball World Cup has started in three Asian countries – Indonesia, the Philippines and Japan – at once. Through two weeks, 32 national teams from all continents will compete for the main title of the tournament.

Some of them will be defended by players who will soon oppose “Prometey” at the BKT EuroCup group stage. Bruno Caboclo and Marco Spissu from “Reyer Venice” will help the National teams of Brazil and Italy respectively.

Defender of Spanish “Joventut” Andres Feliz is a player of the Dominican Republic National team, forward Mikael Jantunen from “Paris Basketball” plays for the National team of Finland. The National team of Slovenia relies on two players of this Balkan country – Jaka Blazic and Zoran Dragic. Both are from “Cedevita Olimpijia”. Israeli “Hapoel Tel Aviv” also deligated two its players to the National teams – Kyle Alexander and John Holland. They will play for the National teams of Canada and Puerto Rico respectively.

Some basketball players from this list have already played in the starting matches of their teams. Andres Feliz became the most effective player of the Dominican Republic National team in its confrontation with the National team of the Philippines.
