Tomorrow, on April 14, the second match of the semi-final playoff stage in the Latvian-Estonian League will be played in the Olympic Centre Rimi in Riga. The rivals are our "Prometey" and the best Latvian team of many years - "VEF Riga".

The "titans" are approaching the second confrontation with the asset of one win in a nominally home match, which was achieved on Wednesday - 76:66. Success in tomorrow's match will allow the Ukrainian club to become the first finalist of the league, since the score in the series "Kalev/Cramo" - "Ventspils" became quite unexpectedly equal after the success of the Latvian club on the home site (85:70), after which the confrontation turned back to Tallinn and will take place April 16.  

As for the “Prometey” – “VEF Riga”first match of the series, it lived up to expectations in terms of intrigue; our team's victory was absolutely deserved. We surpassed our opponent in the quality of shots from the field in general, as well as in short- and mid-range shots, moved the ball much better (22 assists vs. 14) and had much fewer turnovers (10 vs. 17). 

Moreover, the "titans" have significant potential in terms of the game, which they are able to realise tomorrow despite their status as a guest team.
