On September 22, Prometey played its first match within the friendly pre-season tournament “Pinar Cup” in Izmir, Turkey. “Titans” managed to get a win with a score of 108:95.
Ukrainian team started the match briskly, entrenching in the status of the leader from the first minutes. For the long break, Prometey went with an advantage of “+11”. Ginzburg’s squad made a jerk at the beginning of the third quarter, but Manisa managed to pull back to the same gap of 11 points. During the final quarter, our opponent was able to reduce the lag to minimum but “titans” managed to keep control of the game and snatch a victory in the match.
It worth noting that American newcomer Ronald March, who did not participate in previous matches due to his injury, finally played for Prometey in this match.
