With a match against "Kharkivski Sokoly", "Prometey" capped the programme of the High League bubble in Pushcha-Vodytsia. With a score of 114:74, the "titans" gained their third victory in the bubble and the overall 27th one in the championship, having, as before, a 100% tournament result.
Today, the opponent managed to offer the undeniable leader of the championship a decent resistance only in the debut of the game. Back in the middle of the first quarter, Oleksandr Pashchenko's squad managed a 9:0 run, which put the base for their considerable dominating. Back before the long break, "Prometey" achieved a comfortable advantage of two dozen points, which was doubled a bit later.
Today, the "titans" attacked the opponent's basket perfectly from behind the arc: 8 successful attempts out of 13 in the first 20 minutes and 15 out of 27 according the results of the entire match. Especially in this component, it is worth to destinguish Dmytro Kleban - 8 accurate shots out of 10 (!). Dmytro scored points only hitting three-pointers (!): 24 points in total - the best performance indicator in the team. Mykhailo Bublyk recorded 17 points in his asset, Maksym Bezyma scored 16 points. The boys aced long-range shots with 75% and 60% accuracy, respectively.
Next week, our team will be preparing for one of the main starts of the season - the Final Four of the Cup of Ukraine. In about two hours, the team will find out its opponent for the semi-final, which be held on March 9 in Kyiv. The winner of the Cup of Ukraine will be determined the next day.
