In another match of the Latvian-Estonian league, “Prometey” played in the Olympic centre of Riga against “Latvian University”. The “titans” were opposed by a very young team, for which it is difficult so far to compete with most of the league participants. “Prometey” had no problems with the opponent and, with a score of 106:60, gained the 10th win in the league.

The nominal hosts of the court were offering a decent resistance only in some certain segments of the match. For instance, they were not confused with a starting run 8:3 by Ronen Ginzburg’s squad. In the 6th minute, the scoreboard was demonstrating the equal figures – 13:13. However, during the next 4 minutes, the “titans” allowed “Latvian University” to score just 2 points. Oleksandr Lypovyy put a spectacular end of the quarter with his three-point shot – 25:15 in favour of “Prometey”.

In the second quarter, the Ukrainian club started succeeding in long-range offensives – 6 successful attempts at once within this game segment. This allowed “Prometey” to reach handicap of three dozen points and, by and large, erase all questions about the winner of this confrontation.

To the honour of the young team of “Latvian University”, they fought as hard as possible and, at the beginning of the quarter N3, arranged spurt 8:0. However, just in few minutes, “Prometey” got back to “30+” mark of its advantage and later not only developed it but also gained its biggest win in the championship.
