A very busy in terms of games week (3 LEBL matches within 4 days), “Prometey” began with a match against Estonian club “Keila KK”. In the confrontation of today's opponents in the first round, "Prometey" set a record of the current season productiveness - 117 points. During one and a half month since that match, Ronen Ginzburg’s team improved their game level. Therefore they did not expect any problems today.

Both teams played fast basketball from the first seconds of the match. Sometimes the players were too hindered by emotions, so the debut of the match was not productive - 8:8 within the first 5 minutes. In guest’s roster, Ukrainian legionnaire Ivan Mikhieiev, stood out with his performance. However, the next five-minute segment was played with undeniable dominance of “Prometey”. 46 seconds before the first break, James Dickey with his two accurate shots from the free-throw line, set a handicap for “Prometey” at “10+” (26:15). Ondrej Balvin almost reached a double-digit indicator in the quarter (9 points).

A result did not put pressure on the opponents. They continued playing loosely, but of course, the much higher class of “Prometey” was clearly visible. Our team attacked from any distance with excellent percentage. Already at the beginning of the 15th minute, there were 40 points in their assets – with such game, it was possible to set a new record of performance in the season!

After the long break, Ronen Ginzburg’s team did not relax. At the start of the third 10-minute segment, the hosts of the court were in lead by over 30 points, and finished the quarter with”40+”. “Red and white” constantly pleased their fans with spectacular basketball and allowed their opponents to slightly reduce the gap only in the final quarter.

Already tomorrow, “Prometey” will hold another home match. The rival is Estonian club “Tallinn Kalev/Audentes”.
