“Prometey” (High league of Ukrainian championship) attained a victory over “BIPA” (Odesa) in the first of two control matches.

“Prometey” (High league of Ukrainian championship), on the court of FSC “Olymp” Yuzhne, played the first of two scheduled matches against BC “BIPA-Odesa region team”. “Prometey” won with a score of 76:58.

In the debut of the confrontation, “titans” acted in defence quite aggressively. Mostly thanks to this component, they set a lead in score. Further, Oleksandr Pashchenko’s squad was not consistent in all ten-minute segments. While attacking from the perimeter, they acted hastily, which resulted in a low percentage of successful three-point shots. Instead, the “red-and-white” did not give in to the opponent in the fight under the backboards and had almost half as many losses (13 against 22). As a result - a well-deserved win of “Prometey”.

Oleksandr Petrenko was the most effective player of our team - 18 points (100% realization of two-point shots and 4 successful attempts out of 5 three-pointers).
