“Prometey” (High league of Ukrainian championship) opened the game programme of the current off-season with a match against th representative of the national Superleague BC “Zaporizhzhia”. The match was held in Zaporizhzhia at the PS “”Yunist”, a symbolic place for our team. Exactly here, “titans” won the championship title in June 2021 and later obtained a chain of sparkling victories in the Champions league!

Today, the club’s youth, who was set a task for the season to win the ticket to the Superleague, defended the red-and-white colours. In the debut match, they suggested speedy basketball, making a spurt 6:0 in the first two minutes. In the 6th minute, the hosts of the court took the lead for the first time in this match, but the opening quarter remained for the "titans" - 24:22.

An equal fighting continued during the next 10 minutes. The teams went for the long break with an advantage of “Prometey” by one possession. But the third quarter was completely for “red-and-white”. Before the last break, after the shot from the perimeter by Dmytro Kleban, their advantage reached 10 points (62:52).

During the last 10-minute segment, “Prometey” confidently drove the game to the winning result – 85:65. The performance of three "titans" - Daniil Pyrohov, Ihor Klimov and Dmytro Holovchyk - reached the mark of "10+" points.
