Tomorrow, on February 17 at 14:00, with the match between "Prometey" and "Niko-Basket" the long-awaited Cup of Ukraine among men's teams of the 2023/24 season will begin in Slobozhanske at the 1/8 final stage.

In its almost 6-year history, our team, starting with the 2018/2019 season, will participate in the prestigious domestic tournament for the fifth time. So far, reaching the quarterfinals is the highest achievement of the team. Last time, the “titans” reached this stage under the heading of Ronen Ginsburg in the 2021/2022 season and had to compete for the Final Four berth against BC “Ternopil”, but the tournament was terminated early due to the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine.

According to the format of this year's championship, 8 pairs were formed through a blind draw from 16 teams, which will play the 1/8 final and 1/4 final stages in four cities.

The bubble in Slobozhanske will start first, where, in addition to "Prometey" and "Niko-Basket", the representative of the Super League "Lvivska Poltekhnika" and the High league team, the Sumy region team BC "SumDU" will play. These teams will fight for the second ticket to the quarterfinals tomorrow, on February 17. The match starts at 17:00.

Also at 17:00, but on February 18, the winners of the pairs "Prometey" - "Niko-Basket" and "Lvivska Politekhnika" - Sumy region team BC "SumDU"the are playing for the first ticket to the Final Four of the Cup of Ukraine.

As a reminder, "Prometey" has already played against its tomorrow’s opponent - "Niko-Basket" - in the High League championship and celebrated success three times.
