Already in February, the long awaited Cup of Ukraine comebacks will take place. In the 2021/22 season, the competition was not finished due to the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine. Last season, it also was not held.

This season, 10 clubs of the Favbet Superleague and 6 High league best teams of the Ukrainian Championship, by the moment of the end of two tours of the regular championship, will participate in the Cup of Ukraine.

AS a reminder, our "Prometey" is currently the sole leader of the High League with a 17-0 balance. The "titans" have to play 5 more matches in the second tour, but even before the New Year they secured participation in the Cup of Ukraine.

According to the format of the competition, the four hosts of the first stage, which includes the 1/8 and 1/4 final matches, will be determined by a blind draw. The first stage of the Cup of Ukraine will be held between February 14 and 17. The pairings of the first stage will also be determined by a blind draw after the second round of the High League regular season completion. 

Later, the 1/2 final pairs will be determined by drawing lots from among the winners of each of the four bubbles, who will play the semi-final and final games in the determined city within two days. The Final Four of the Cup of Ukraine is scheduled to be held on March 2-3.
