"Prometey" played its penultimate BKT EuroCup match of the regular season in Venice, Italy, against the local club. At the moment when the teams were about to start the game, it was already known that the Turkish "Besiktas" lost at home to the best team ofGroup A "Paris Basketball". This meant that a possible success for the "titans" would bring them into fifth place in the group.

Ronen Ginzburg's squad started the match very confidently. Their opponents made three turnovers in just the first four minutes of the match, which the "titans" used - 13:7 in their favour.

Our team kept the opponent at a distance throughout the first half of the game. Before the first break, after an accurate three-pointer by Issuf Sanon, the handicap of "Prometey" reached double digits for the first time in the match. In the 14th minute, Neven Spahija's team reduced the lag to one possession (32:35), but "Prometey" quickly regained the "10+" advantage.

“Venice” tried to turn the flpw of the game after the long break, and this attempt turned out to be successful. During the first half of the quarter N3, the hosts managed to level their lag completely, and in the 26th minute, Ray Jon Tucker drove his team ahead after a long pause (67:65) with two accurate foul throws. The Italian team improved the percentage of shots from the perimeter, which allowed it to increase their advantage to 7 points (75:68). The entire third quarter turned out to be unsuccessful for our team: the "titans" lost it by 24 points, having missed almost 40 ones.

Now, "Prometey" urgently needed to step up its performance. However, today was an unlucky day for “Prometey”. Our team lost with a score of 92:108, remaining in sixth place in Group A.
