"Prometey" players born in 2011 played their first matches within All-Ukrainian youth basketball league

“Prometey” players biorn in 2011, have played their first matches within the All-Ukrainian youth basketball league.

The matches were underway in Slobozhanske.

The hosts began with a match against SCYSSOR №5 Dnipro. “Prometey” started scoring quickly and already during the first quarter scored 20 points while the opponent manage to respond by just two two-pointers.

The “red-and-white” dominating was carrying on in the second quarter as well. Dnipro players were often losing the ball while dribbling and “Prometey” perfectly used that. Before the long break, the hosts had a significant marge of 45:8.

In the second half of the game, considering the score, the “titans” paid more attention to game components practising – offensive actions, three-point shots and so on. It allowed the team of SCYSSOR №5 to act more bravely, but they did not manage to change the situation on the floor drastically. The final score of the match is 77:21 in favour of “Prometey”.

The second match of the “red-and-white”, against the team “CYSS-Druzhkivka” went by the same scenario.

After the first half of the game, “Prometey” was in lead by more than 50 points. There was also no intrigue in the third and fourth quarters. As a result, “Prometey” was celebrating victory once again – 21:104.

Already today, Ruslan Orishchuk’s players play against SCYSSOR №5 and CYSS-Druzhkivka for the second time.
