Today, on November 24, PS “Budivelnyk” Cherkasy hosts the first stage of basketball 3x3 Ukrainian championship of the 2023/2024 season among men’s teams.

In general, four rounds, three qualification and one the final one, a scheduled for the tournament.

14 teams have applied for the first round including the teams, which consist of the Superleague and the High league players. “Prometey” team will also participate in the 3x3 championship starting round. The honour of our club will be defended in Cherkasy by the High league players Daniil Pyrohov, Dmytro Trykolenko, Anton Sturov and a coach of the basketball school Vladyslav Melnyk, who back two years ago played for “Prometey-2-DDTU” in the High league.

The teams-participants of the first stage are divided into 4 groups. “Prometey” is in group D together with “Cherkaski Mavpy”, Push Team-NUFVSU and Push-DCU. Already at 10:30, the “titans” play their opener against Push Team-NUFVSU. At 11:30 they are playing against Push-DCU and at 12:30 – against the hosts of the stage – “Cherkaski Mavpy”.

Two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-final. All playoff stages will be also played today.
