Tomorrow, on February 23, National team of Ukraine will hold in Italian Livorno one of the decisive confrontations of qualification for the World Cup 2023 against the team from Italy.

As a reminder, four “Prometey” players are getting readi for this confrontation: Issuf Sanon, Denys Lukashov, Illia Sydorov and Oleksandr Lypovyy. The representatives of our club for the third time in the season will oppose the best Italian players. At the end of the last year’s August, in the first round of qualification, Ukrainians lost 89:97. Denys Lukashov scored 10 points in this match, Sanon, Sydorov and Tkachenko scored 8 points each.

In the early September, at the group stage of the European championship, the main team of our country took revenge with the score of 84:73. Illia Sydorov scored 10 points; Ivan Tkachenko scored 17 points as well as Issuf Sanon, who needed just 14 minutes for that.

There is no doubt that tomorrow, all “red and white” will decently represent our club in the National team of Ukraine!
