Tomorrow, on April 3, "Prometey '' is playing on the road a return match of the 1/4 finals of the Latvian-Estonian league Pafbet against the Latvian club "Ogre”. As a reminder, the opening match of the series ended with the victory of the "titans'' - 97:82.

The LEBL game week started with the second victories of “Kalev/Cramo” and “VEF Riga” over “Parnu Sadam'' (77:63) and “Rigas Zelli'' (94:87) at the playoff quarter-final stage, respectively. These successes allowed the best clubs of Estonia and Latvia to get berths to the LEBL semi-finals.

In case of the win, "Prometey" may join them tomorrow. However, our team's visit to the town of Ogre, the neighbouring town to Riga, is promising to be a difficult one. On Saturday, "Ogre" managed to put up a worthy resistance to Ronen Ginzburg's squad. The opponent's players acted brilliantly in offensives from the perimeter (12 accurate shots out of 25), fought well on the rival’s backboard (17 rebounds against 12 bythe "titans"), which also resulted in the advantage of second-chance points (14 against 12) they also made more steals than "Prometey" did(8 against 6). In turn, the "titans" had a noticeable advantage in the accuracy from the field in general and two-point shots in particular, surpassed the opponent in terms of the total number of rebounds and moved the ball better than them.

Despite the visiting team's status in tomorrow's confrontation, "Prometey" is the favourite of the match. Let's hope that after the second game of the series, our team will succeed in reaching the LEBL semi-finals.
