“Prometey” resumes a month-long pause in the 7DAYS EuroCup with a road match against “Ratiopharm Ulm” club from Germany. Brilliant seven-match victorious streak has brought the best club of Ukraine not only in the sole leaders of Group A but also in the main contenders for victory in the group following the results of the first stage of the tournament. Each of four EuroCup matches that has to be played in March should be classified as the key one.

The closest rival of “Prometey” also approaches the confrontation in a great mood and with a significant motivation. “Ratiopharm Ulm” is currently sitting in 4th place in the group with 8 wins in 14 matches. There is no doubt that German team will take every effort to keep their current position as minimum as it give them the advantage of the home arena in the first stage of the play-off.

The day before the confrontation in Ulm, the head coach of “Prometey” Ronen Ginzburg paid tribute to the opponent: ”The main “Ulm” weapons is that they are really good in offense. They shoot very well from the three-point line and have a lot of players who can score”. The words of “red and white” helmsman are proved by statistics: “Ulm” has the fourth offense in the group. Herewith, if German club is inferior to "Prometey" by 55 points, then to Spanish "Joventut" and French "Bourg" - 8 and 2 points, respectively. But "Ulm" does not have the necessary balance: the opponent has the worst defense among the teams that are currently getting into the play-off.
