One of the Prometey's rivals in the Latvian-Estonian basketball league BC "University of Latvia" announced that it has extended the contract with 21-year-old Pauls Gustav Miglinieks.

This will be the third season in the LU team of the 1988 Olympic champion and former coach of Kyiv "Budievelnyk" Igors Miglinieks’ son.

Last season, Pauls averaged 3.9 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game in 11 minutes on the court.

As a reminder, BC "University of Latvia" has existed since 1929. In the 1930s, the club won seven Latvian championships, and returned to the First Division of the Latvian League right on the eve of the 2010/11 season. The highest achievement to date is 4th place in 2012.
