“Prometey” started the next tour of the European youth basketball league with a match against “NABA/LKS KM” club from Ireland, an exotic country for European continent basketball.
Two months ago, these teams already played against each other in Riga. That time “Prometey” surpassed the opponent by 51 points. At the same time, Irish boys gave the "red and white" decent resistance in the starting quarter. Today, in the first eight-minute segment, Oleksandr Pashchenko's team laid the foundation for their victory.
“Prometey” completely dominated all match long. Eventually, our team attained their biggest victory in the tournament – 104:20. The most productive players were Bezyma brothers and Mykhaylo Bublyk. Maksym Bezyma scored 14 points, Bublyk – 13, Mykyta Bezyma – 12.
Already at 16:00, “Prometey” is playing another tour confrontation. The rival is the team of Latvian University.
